This full exhaust system has been developed by SC-Project R&D department to offer the best performance together with a great improvement of the agility of the Yamaha XSR 900 GP, thanks to an outstanding weight reduction of 40% (if compared to the OEM exhaust system) and an incredible performance gain of 3.9 hp at 9500 rpm and 2.2 Nm at 9500 rpm.
Entirely crafted with high-quality AISI 304 Stainless Steel to ensure optimal resistance and durability, this product is 100% Made in Italy using state-of-the-art technologies, experience and skills of SC-Project Production department.
The aggressive conical shape of the S1 muffler makes it a benchmark in terms of sound emotion: as soon as you start the engine on your Yamaha, you will be rewarded with dark and deep notes, true SC-Project signature sound. To guarantee the best customization possible, it’s equipped with a removable baffle. This solution will give you the choice between 107 dB at 5000 rpm with dB-killer installed and a louder sound of 113 dB at 5000 rpm without dB-killer.
Its matt black Ceramic Coating - developed to be highly resistant to extreme heat - and the accuracy of the carbon fibre end cap, are the perfect blend between exclusive design and innovation, providing a unique style that perfectly suits the XSR 900.
To further refine the aesthetics of the bike the silencer’s body features a laser-etched SC-Project logo. The installation of the kit is completely plug and play and it’s completely reversible. ECU remapping is recommended to obtain the best performance.
Together with this kit, the purchase of SC-Project ECR (Electronic Catalytic Remover) is strongly recommended. With the removal of the catalytic converter, the motorcycle’s ECU could generate an error. This device has been developed by SC-Project to correctly manage the removal of the catalytic converter. Extremely easy to install, it needs to be connected to the OBD socket and it will automatically manage the error, safely restoring the correct functionality of the on-board electronic system.
